\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMoisson Laurentides is a community organization aiming to fight hunger and feed hope, a food bank located in the Laurentians. We recuperate food and redistribute it to local organizations. To achieve our mission, we seek donations in food or money form and require the help of numerous volunteers. To that end, we collect, use, and disclose information on a daily basis to provide our services in matters of soliciting contributions of various kinds, participating in events, or volunteering.\r\n\r\nConfidentiality is important to us. Moisson Laurentides’s place of business is located at 341 Legault Street, in Blainville; we are the food bank serving the Laurentians and the Les Moulins RCM in the Lanaudi\u00e8re regions.<\/p>\n

For 35 years, we have been providing food stuff to community organizations serving vulnerable people on our territory.<\/p>\n

We recuperate and redistribute food supplies. We avoid placing excessive demands on agri-food suppliers, ensuring low-cost distribution and fair sharing of foodstuffs among certified organizations based on the number of people they serve. We serve the greater region of the Laurentians and the Les Moulins RCM in Lanaudi\u00e8re, overseeing a total area of 20,820\u00a0km2<\/sup> and a population of up to 800,000 people.<\/p>\n

We apply rules and standards from the Minist\u00e8re de l’Agriculture, des P\u00eacheries et de l’Alimentation du Qu\u00e9bec\u00a0(MAPAQ) and the agri-food industry throughout the entire mutual aid chain. We participate in the development of sustainable solutions to favour food security.<\/p>\n

We develop and implement novel alternative food help practices. We develop and support networking among organizations. We promote, train, and support our network and the population.<\/p>\n

Moisson Laurentides is part of the Food Bank Network of Qu\u00e9bec comprising 19 Moisson members and 13 associate organizations. We are also a member of Food Banks Canada.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
